Du wirst erkennen, dass Standardisierung sinnvoll ist. Die Standardisierung ist eine simple Operation, um unterschiedliche Daten auf einen gemeinsamen Nenner zu bringen.

Die Datenbasis ist im übrigen in der Statistik auch angegeben, es handelt sich um die Sterblichkeitsdatenbank des schottischen Health Service, zu welcher tausende Leute Zugang haben dürften:

Confirmed COVID-19 deaths Death data were extracted from the SMRA dataset at 16:00
on Thursday 14 October 2021. Data included in these analysis are reported up until the last
date of death registration for the previous week.
A confirmed COVID-19 related death is defined as an individual who has tested positive by
PCR for SARS-CoV-2 at any time point and has COVID-19 listed as a underlying or
contributory cause of death on the death certificate. Vaccine status is determined at time of
most recent specimen date.
Age-standardised mortality rates are used to allow comparisons of mortality rates between
populations that have different age distributions. The 2013 European Standard Population is
used to standardise rates.
For more information see the ONS methods. Denominators used
to calculate age-standardised mortality rates are the same as the cases and hospitalisations
rate figures and tables described above.

Gibt es irgendwo einen Hinweis, oder wenigstens ein glaubwürdiges Gerücht, dass diese Daten gefälscht sein könnten?
