Ich habe Patienten in den frühen 40-igern und ich war geschockt. Ich sehe Menschen, die relativ gesund aussehen, mit minimalen früheren Erkrankungen und die werden komplett "umgekippt", als ob sie von einem LKW angefahren worden wären. Dies (die Seuche) läßt Menschen umkippe, die vollkommen fit und gesund sein sollten. Die Patienten sind zunächst nur auf minimale "Unterstützung" angewiesen, auf ein bißchen Oxygen und PLÖTZLICH gehen sie in einen totalen "Respiratory Arrest"*, fallen zusammen und können überhaupt nicht mehr atmen.

* Respiratory arrest is a condition that exists at any point a patient stops breathing or is ineffectively breathing. It often occurs at the same time as cardiac arrest, but not always.
