Gerade eben hat Gen. Flynn - den ich sehr schätze! - diesen WaPo-Artikel verlink, er zitiert:
"Frieden wird es in der Ukraine erst geben, wenn die USA und Russland sich zusammensetzen und die konkreten Bedingungen eines Friedensvertrags aushandeln. Nichts, was nicht auf dieser Ebene verhandelt wird, ist wirksam, wird respektiert oder garantiert.

Interessant... aha:

Even if Ukrainian soldiers have won a tactical territorial victory, the Russian Army will never simply pack up and go home. The Russians will no more “quit” Ukraine than they did Crimea.
