please find attached one photograph and a press release - PR 27 - GERMANY GRANTS NAMPOWER 20 MILLION EUR TO BUILD THE FIRST EVER UTILITY SCALE BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM (BESS) IN NAMIBIA - of the Embassy for your information and further consideration.
A bilateral cooperation agreement between the Republic of Namibia and the Federal Republic of Germany through the KfW Development Bank has yielded funding of €20 million grant towards the implementation of the first ever utility scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Namibia, and the Southern African region at large.
